Softboxes

Softbox 50 x 70

Softboxes are light modifiers that create diffuse lighting. Good lighting definition and a soft shadow effect are the major advantages of softboxes. Inside the softbox there is a silver reflective coating, which distributes the light via reflection. The outer diffuser distributes the diffuse light evenly. An additional diffuser – the inner diffuser – in combination with the outer diffuser generates an even softer light.

We offer softboxes in various shapes and sizes:

Macro-Softbox 30x30 Macro Softbox 30x30 and 40x40 for extreme close-up photography or also for portraits. Easily combined with the optional handle.
Softbox 50x70 – our universal softbox for the flash2softbox adapter. Suitable for portraits, product photos and many other photography settings. Not too heavy for use with an optional handle.
Softboxen 60x60, 60,90, 70x100 – due to the larger adapter (speedring) on the softbox, we recommend these softboxes for stationary operation.
Octobox 95cm – the portrait softbox. Generates the round eye reflex. We also recommend this softbox for stationary use due to the somewhat heavier speedring
Strip light 22x90cm – a special softbox, very narrowly designed for special effects such as the well-known elongated reflex on wine bottles.

Beauty Dish

The Beauty Dish is a light modifier from the 1950s, which has recently been celebrating its comeback. The Hollywood Effect: for glamorous portraits – concentration on the important photo content, tapering into soft contours on the outside. The optional honeycomb insert offers even more latitude and considerably enhances the impact of the Beauty Dish.

Available in the 30 cm size (also ideal for the flash2softbox Version 1, as it has a universal mount) and also in the 40 cm size – attached directly on the L-bracket, thus only designed for the flash2softbox adapter from Version 2.

Spotlight attachment

The snoot with a honeycomb creates accentuated light, as it only partially illuminates the object. The integrated honeycomb grid generates powerful and targeted light. Border areas fade into the dark. Suitable for nude photography where only certain parts of the body are to be accentuated.

Barn Doors

Barn doors with honeycomb and color filters serve to focus the light using the barn-door flaps. The integrated honeycomb generates powerful, targeted light. The color filters can be used for background moods or also for particular lighting and color effects.

Areas of use: background light and hair light.

Tripods

The flash2softbox adapter can be mounted on any standard camera tripod. The standardized connection thread in the bottom plate of the flash2softbox adapter is identical to that on the underside of a camera. The camera tripod has the advantage that the adapter, and thus the light modifier, can be twisted and tilted to any position. In addition to camera tripods, which are a good deal more expensive than lamp tripods, lamp tripods can also be used with a spigot and a mounted screw thread. The advantage of lamp tripods is of course that they can also be used with studio flash units. A disadvantage is the rigid connection of the flash2softbox adapter to the tripod. Thus the light modifiers cannot be tilted. The combination of flash mount adapter and flash2softbox adapter is an economical alternative that brings back the tilt ability of lamp tripods. But more on that topic in the section on „Sweet Umbrella“.

Handle

The handle enables intuitive collaboration with an assistant and is an ideal accessory for dynamic shots. This is a particularly effective tool when used with small softboxes and beauty Dishes.

Sweet Umbrella

Sweet Umbrella is actually a small flash adapter set consisting of a flash mount adapter with a tilt function and an integrated umbrella bracket. It also comes with a small, 50 cm soft umbrella, which can be easily stowed in any camera bag. Using the Fusion flash mount adapter and flash2softbox adapter, it is possible to also make the lamp tripod swivel and tilt.

An additional advantage: not only light modifiers such as softboxes, barn doors, snoots and Beauty Dishes, but also studio umbrellas can now be used.
