Compatibility - We offer models in four different heights

The flash2softbox adapter is currently available in four different heights, so most system flash units are compatible with it. There are only a few flash units whose reflectors do not fit through the connector ring with an inner diameter of 89 mm and unfortunately cannot be used.

L-BRACKET 1) 30 MM (SHORT):

Small flash units such as Metz CT 32, 

L-BRACKET 2) 75 MM (NORMAL):

Flash unit that fits Nikon SB 24 to 28DX, Nikon SB-600 and SB-800, Canon 420/430EX, 440/580EX, Minolta 5400 and identical models. This piece still fits flash units for L-bracket 1 in conjunction with the wireless system PT-01/PT-04.

L-BRACKET 3) 90 MM (LONG):

Nikon SB-900, Olympus FL-50(R), Sigma EF 500 DG Super and flash units as in L-bracket 2 in conjunction with the cube-shaped servo trigger, e.g. from Hama or the Canon Speedlite 580EX with the original TTL cable from Canon or the Nikon SB-800 with the original TTL cable from Nikon.

L-BRACKET 4) 120 MM (EXTRA LONG):

For flash units as in L-bracket 2 in conjunction with the wireless system PT-01/PT-04.

For Sony/Minolta owners:

The standard flash mount that comes with the flash2softbox adapters can be removed and replaced with the FA-CS1AM flash mount from Sony. In case your Sony/Minolta flash unit was delivered with a flash unit together with a base having a tripod connection, you can also use it instead of the standard flash2softbox mount.
